Description

We are a 5 people studio dedicated to creating fun local multiplayer games and storytelling experiences. We also love animation.

History

DNA Studios was founded in 2013 by David, Nat, Martin and Nicolas. They teamed up to develop a mobile game "Antyz". They worked in a small appartement for 2 years until the release. The game was a success and reached 1'000'000 downloads on mobile. After Antyz the team could move to their first office in Bulle, started to do work for hire and to develop local multiplayer games called with peculiar characters called "The Babs".

DNA Studios then published 4 local multiplayer games on a web platform called AirConsole. They found playing with friend was the way they like to enjoy games. For the next few years they developped the Babs games. The Neighbourhood, Rat Race, The Babs, and Tower of Babel. After 3 years, and more than 3'000'000 of players on AirConsole, the switch showed up on the market and the swiss studio decided it was the perfect platform for their multiplayer games. In spring 2019 they received a grant from Pro Helvetia to port Tower of Babel on the Nintendo Switch
